Ditch the Isolation Trapping Most Mission-Driven Leaders
In this free, 60-minute virtual session, you will build connections, identify the change dynamics weighing you down, and find your way forward with peers who don't need the backstory to get it.
01 — Who it's for
This event is for leaders at nonprofits, NGOs, higher education institutions, and other mission-driven organizations wrestling with challenges of leading through uncertainty and disruption.
You might be a CHRO, a Chief People Officer, or a VP of People and Culture. Perhaps you head up an HR function, an OD team, or a culture and engagement practice. Maybe you're leading a team feeling destabilized from the ground shifting under them. No matter your title, if you're responsible for guiding others through change, this is for you.
It's for leaders who are ready to stop going at it alone and see what opportunities emerge when we intentionally cultivate meaningful support for ourselves and others.
Odds are, you're navigating one or more of these right now:
01 A significant organizational transition like restructuring, leadership change, rapid scaling, or funding disruption.
02 The responsibility of being someone others look to for steadiness, even when you don't feel it yourself.
03 A desire for space to think out loud with peers who understand the unique pressures of mission-driven work.
02 — What to expect
This is an informative and connective online experience specially crafted to support mission-driven leaders. John will start by naming the sector-specific patterns making change harder than it needs to be and the pervasive blind spots of leaders who carry the burden alone. Hearing those named in a room full of people who understand them will shift your perspective and open up new pathways for action.
From there, you'll have the opportunity to reflect and put words to where you are right now and what you need most.
Then the conversation opens to the full group. With a few powerful questions and expert facilitation, we'll generate a room of actionable insights, co-created by you and your peers.
What surfaces in that conversation depends entirely on who's in the room. It's the kind of personal, insightful, and valuable experience that can only be created with your presence and participation.
You'll leave having:
01 — Heard your experience named clearly and honestly
02 — Connected with peers who understand the terrain without needing a lot of context
03 — Gained at least one actionable insight you didn't walk in with to help you build your change support structure
03 — Your facilitator
